Die Cutting – Sometimes you need your marketing presentation to stand out or pop up from the crowd. We can create custom dies to cut your printing project into any shape you want. We have created die cuts for presentation folders, table tents, pop displays, trade show graphics, menus, business cards and flyers.
Door Hanger Cutting – We have multiple sizes of fabricated die cuts to stamp out door hangers.
Embossing – This process is used to raise areas of print on your project so letters, shapes and logos stand up from the printing.
Foil Stamping – Gold and silver foil can be used to make your print pieces more professional by adding an extra touch of class.
Folding – We can fold papers up to 11” X 25.5” up to 100lb cover. Standard papers that are folded are 8.5” X 11” (letter), 11” X 17” (tabloid) and 8.5” X 14” (legal).
Our folding equipment is capable of single fold, double fold, z-fold (zig zag), cross fold, gate fold, letter fold, fold out and the double parallel fold.
Laminating - Lamination is used to store printed materials for the longest use. Signs, menus, business cards, easels and more are laminated to produce a rich high gloss effect that is weather proof.
Mounting - Mounting is the process of adding thickness and weight to a printed project to be used for display. Foam boards, cut-outs, POP displays, lawn signs and menus are the most commonly mounted pieces. These projects are finished using adhesives, mounting machines and a UV gloss or silk matte laminated finish.
Perforating - Paper perforators are used to punch out tiny holes in a straight line down sheets of paper. The spacing of the perforated paper can be adjusted by changing out the perforating wheel. This allows the perforations per inch to be adjusted to the size of the sheet. We can perforate your job based on how durable you need your perforating done. At Grace Printing, we can perforate coupons, mailers, door hangers and quick release business cards to any of your marketing materials.
Numbering - Numbering machines are used to numerically stamp individual pieces of printing material with one color of ink. This is a cost effective way to number high volume spot color printing jobs. Grace Printing in Chicago can number invoices, tickets, purchase orders, receipts or any project you need numbered.
Scoring - Paper scoring machines are used to put a crease down a sheet of paper preparing a printed piece for a perfect fold. At Grace Printing on Chicago’s North Shore we commonly use our scoring equipment to create folded business cards, presentation folders, table tents, greeting cards, tickets, packaging, pocket calendars, UV magazine covers and more.
Spot UV - This is a process where you only apply gloss to a masked area of print. Correct use of this effect results in a 3D type effect.
Rounding Corners – Finish that perfect business card, flier, book mark or presentation piece with rounded corners.
