VARIABLE DATA PRINTING FOR DIRECT MAILING

This new and exciting form of direct marketing is an advanced digital publishing system that produces a final piece in which text, graphics, and imagery are individualized to each recipient. This makes addressing bulk mailing a breeze.

Submitting Graphics & Image files for VDP.
1. Convert to CMYK.
2. Scale and crop all images so they have the same size and resolution of 300 dpi.
3. Use short names for images, no more than 15 characters, alphanumeric only.
DO NOT USE spaces, commas, periods, slashes, colons, etc.
4. Save as .pdf file with the images ordered in Adobe Acrobat. Download Acrobat for FREE here.
Submitting Excel files for variable data printing.
1. The first row should contain header information.
2. Do not use returns in field data.
3. Do not use spaces at the beginning or end of field data.
4. Do not use foreign characters with accent marks.
5. Use a column for each variable image, and enter the EXACT file name, including extension
6. Any overs and samples should be included in database as additional records.
